If I remove from my order any tests that were recommended as a result of my assessment, I understand that my choice may mean that:
Terms and Conditions
I understand that the cervical cancer screening service is intended for asymptomatic clients, and I confirm that I have none the following symptoms: irregular bleeding, post-sexual intercourse bleeding, vaginal discharge, itching, lesions on the genital organs.
I commit to informing Biron if I develop one or more of the symptoms listed above during the process.
I understand that the service is intended for clients aged between 25 and 65 targeted by a collective prescription, and that anyone outside this age limit may be denied screening and redirected for a medical consultation during the assessment with the healthcare professional.
I understand that cervical cancer screening is generally recommended every 3 to 5 years. I understand that if my last screening is too recent, the healthcare professional may refuse to issue a screening prescription during the assessment. In such cases, only consultation fees will be charged. (Please note that individuals who have previously received a positive result for HPV or cytology may still be accepted.)
Choice of service provider
I understand that during my appointment, I may choose to have the sample collection and analysis done by a public services provider, whose services may be free, or by Biron Health Group or another service provider and bear the associated costs.
I understand that if I choose a services provider other than Biron Health Group, I will receive my prescription, and only Biron Health Group consultation fees will be charge. In which case, it will be my responsibility to find a services provider for sample collection and analysis and bear the associated costs.
Tests results
I understand that if I chose to retain the services of Biron Health Group, I will receive my results within 72 hours. I also understand that Biron Health Group is not responsible for the transmission delay of results by another services provider.
I understand that in case of a positive result requiring follow-up colposcopy, a consultation request will be sent to my region’s Service Request Distribution Center (SRDC), and Biron Health Group is not responsible for any delays.

I understand that during my appointment, a healthcare professional will offer me the opportunity to assess my risk factors for contracting an STI, and I will have the option to undergo STI testing during my appointment (applicable fees apply).
Teleconsultation
I understand that healthcare professionals from Biron Health Group are authorized to provide consultation only to individuals located in the province of Quebec. I confirm that I am currently located in Quebec.

In that case, they will get their prescription and pay Biron only the $95 for a consultation with a nurse. Even so, the results will be forwarded to Biron for interpretation and for an appropriate drug prescription to be issued, as needed.
Forwarding resultsAnybody who chooses to use Biron’s services will receive their results within 72 hours. However, Biron is not responsible for delayed results being forwarded by another service provider. When test results are positive, a nurse will contact the client by phone to inform them and explain treatment.
